Going Again

Bryan Renfro is the best damn dog trainer in the world.  From doing all the animals on Little House On The Prairie, training the cockatoo on the TV series Baretta, to appearing on The Johnny Carson show, Bryan has had one helluva career.  He was even on the set of Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds!  From gang life to prison to Vietnam to Hollywood, Bryan Renfro captures all of it in his book Hard Work & Dumb Luck , and we capture a little of it here.

Tig Fong is an Emmy nominated Stunt Coordinator.  He is a director, actor, stuntman, photographer and a globetrotting undersea adventurer with sharks being his current focus.  This was an entertaining and educational chat.

Andrew Butcher is a singer-songwriter-musician, and co-host of Going Again Podcast.  After two guests bailed on the show, by no fault of their own mind you, we decided to fill one of the spots by having Andrew perform a few of his original songs.

Lorin Raine will tell you he's a 2nd Assistant Director for film and television.  But he's so much more.  He's the best 2nd Assistant Director for film and television.  He's also a sketch comedy artist, and a playwright, and a director.  He's a writer, a comedian, and a classically trained actor and opera singer.  And most important of all, he's one of our favourite people ever.

Dwayne McLean, at 83 years young, is still a working professional stuntman and stunt coordinator.  An inductee of both the Canadian and American Stuntmen's Halls of Fame, Dwayne is a living legend in the stunt biz.  You may even remember him as Black Bart in the iconic 'A Christmas Story'.D

Joe Forte is an artist.  At 80 years young, he has been homeless for four decades, relying on the kindness of others to live a life creating.  His main medium is black ink and paper.  His inspiration, life.  A philosopher of sorts, his wizardly white beard offers wisdom gleaned from his years of earthly experience and soulful spirituality.

Mike Meacher is a professional musician and commercial paleontologist. He has toured all over Canada and the United States with Canadian rock band, Mudmen, releasing an album with the group in 2016 entitled "Old Plaid Shirt". His band Factory City, has released two albums, "Factory City" and "Art Is War". Nowadays, though he continues to do live shows as a solo artist, Mike has been focused on a company he founded in 2018, Stormbed Paleontological. They are a sales and preparation service that digs, collects and prepares world class North American trilobites. Mike is also a breeder of poison dart frogs for the pet trade.
